Ladies and gentlemen, Soviet silver collectibles are dominating the art market. These unique historic rarities have gone mainstream, attracting and holding interest of millions, worldwide. As of today it is 1,086 sales listings and counting!

INCREDIBLE! That is the only way to describe the current state of the Soviet Silver Jewelry & Collectibles Market! We've never seen so many sales, so many listings, so much trade. It is just amazing to see all these investors, collectors, dealers, owners and lovers of the USSR silver jewellery come together and function as one global marketplace! Especially in light of the fact that only 7 years ago nothing like this existed or even thought possible.

Well, we changed all that, we started this market a few years back and now we are at fault for unleashing this "young giant" onto the art world. However as much as the USSR Silver has grown in value and popularity, this is just the beginning. Yes, the most difficult task placed before us (to build this market from scratch) is over! It took 7 years, 3 books in two languages, a lot of money, tremendous amount of time, and an incredible amount of persistence, but we did it - despite all doubts and criticism We Did It!

Now comes the exiting part - growing this market into a global financial and cultural "behemoth" that will make so much money to all of its participants, their heads will spin from euphoria. Sounds unreal, doesn't it? Lets put it this way, if we can do all this in just seven years, and this was the hardest part - what do you think we can do in the next ten (during the easy phase)? Especially in light of the fact that now we have more financial capital from art investors, a much bigger Soviet gold and silver collection, a massive audience and a large clientele base, along with unprecedented media coverage.

Once more, there are plenty of sellers just like "jewerlyofussr" who now specialize almost exclusively in buying and selling Soviet jewelry. This particular seller even made their eBay user name (ID) that matches their business model - selling jewelry of the USSR. We applaud their effort and wish them the absolute best! However this is one more thing to say... Behind their every sale is a willing buyer, collector or investor and for the most part they all appear to be different eBay users. What that tells us is that for every Soviet jewellery seller there may be between 10-100 buyers. And their numbers are growing fast! Just look at the feedback this seller is receiving after every successful sale. Beautiful! Terrific! Lovely! Excellent! These are just some of the words from satisfied buyers that purchased Soviet Silver Jewelry, but perhaps the best feedback of them all is this one "Thank you very much! Will buy again."

Now lets move onto the next matter at hand, which is the actual market analysis. First, Soviet silver prices are stable and are growing, despite the fact that the amount of items for sale on international trade platforms like eBay have doubled in the last six months. As you can see from the image above on the date of this report there are 806 Soviet silver listings on eBay.com. That is because of our second point that we wish to make - the Russians and the Ukrainians entered this market!

Perhaps the biggest reason why the Russian sellers are now so active on eBay is because Russia's largest online auction Molotok.ru went out of business and was closed early this summer. Naturally this lead many sellers (and buyers) to eBay. While some Russian dealers chose to sell directly from their nation, a great deal of them still do not have access to credit cards, PayPal and thus eBay so they are selling via Eastern European countries that are part of the EU, like Latvia and Estonia. A big upsurge of Soviet collectibles is coming from those nations and it's not a coincidence.

The last but not least is Ukraine, which is second only to Russia in the amount of USSR jewelry and collectibles they put on the market. Ukrainians are also selling directly and via their EU neighbors. Naturally people from Ukraine are selling their Soviet silver because of a very difficult financial situation. Frankly Russia is also experiencing, not as severe but never the less a serious, economic downturn because of the Western sanctions. With all of this said here is the amazing fact - the Soviet Silver Jewelry Market was not only able to successfully absorb this massive increase in undervalued assets from World's Top Two nations that hold the biggest amount of USSR Silver Rarities - but more importantly it quickly stabilized and was able to continue growing at the previous rate!

This is just incredible. We've never seen so much sales and trade in our entire time studying the Soviet silver market. The more undervalued rarities appear for sale, the more buyers are willing to come forward and purchase these rare collectibles. We know for a fact that investors are buy-up Soviet silver jewelry in bulk. This market has become very active and very diversified. There are many different buyers and sellers from many different nations. This diversification is continuing as more investors join the game. This means stability and balance for everyone which is always a great indicator for profit.

While the amount of listings on eBay can and probably will go up for a while, eventually Russian and Ukrainian markets will dry-up. Especially when they are selling their historic assets under value. Until then the prices for these rare collectibles are going to increase more steadily, but increase nonetheless. We suggest that everyone takes advantage of all low-priced Soviet silver and purchase as much as you can. Because you know what... WE are the X-Factor in this equations. SOVIET SILVER JEWELRY MARKET ANALYSIS REPORT 2015

Soviet silver collectibles, and especially jewelry, experienced a number of market-wide events that are worth noticing. The biggest one could be summarized by this statement - Ukrainians entered the international market. Over these last few months we saw a massive surge of Soviet silver jewelry offered for sale on auction sites like eBay. The amount of listed items nearly doubled, and the variety has definitely increased. With this said, the prices on USSR silver have not gone down (as you will see from our sales report). In fact, the trade has gone up substantially and we once again had to work through massive amounts of bought and sold Soviet silver jewellery, to deliver to you this report. While it's a lot of work for us, it is great news for you, and especially for the Ukrainian people. Buyers just got an excellent selection of these rare collectibles, while the sellers are receiving fair value for their product. We do, however, have to mention one negative aspect of this trade and that's Ukrainian law, which, as they stand now, does not permit any export of silver jewelry from the country. Yet, due to their current civil and economic crisis, people are taking that risk because they need to eat and pay their bills. On our part, legally we cannot encourage this behaviour, but morally we cannot discourage Ukrainian sellers from working with the international buyers either. That is why we wish to inform our readers of this situation, and let each person make their own decision.

Another interesting observation that we made was that many regular Western sellers of Soviet silver jewellery, began to sell less of it. It may be an indicator that most of these unique USSR collectibles have been purchased into private collections, as long term investments. This would explain why prices remained the same when the overall amount of Soviet silver jewelry nearly doubled (due to new sellers from Ukraine) on eBay. Another slightly negative aspect, especially for new collectors as well as investors that are just entering this market, is that we are seeing less and less of high-end or rare USSR silver jewelry for sale. Such items are being bought into private collections at a rate we never saw before. On numerous occasions we, ourselves, have partaken in auctions only to be quickly outbid. Nevertheless, this market is more alive than ever before, and we are happy to guide it into it's bright and profitable future. Now on with the sales report...

SOVIET SILVER SALES: September, October, November 2014 - PRICES ARE RISING!

Soviet silver prices are continuing their very strong growth. Over the past three months we have seen a clear psychological acceptance by the overwhelming majority of international buyers, sellers, collectors and dealers - that USSR silver jewelry is highly valuable and worth investing their money in. During this year, average prices on small and medium sized Soviet jewellery went from $15-30 to $60-150 USD. For more rare items, as this report shows, you can see prices as high as $400-700 dollars. Now, this is nothing new – just take a look at our previous sales reports. What is new is that such high-end sales are happening more frequently and on a consistent basis which means further price growth should be expected.

We also picked up on several trend that may be of interest to collectors. Soviet silver cup holders - their sales, as well as realized prices, have been above average. Another collectibles that have been selling well are Soviet silver cufflinks with synthetic gemstones. They too have been in demand and sold for very respectable amounts. Needless to add that overall, USSR silver jewellery with man-made gems has been in great demand. We strongly recommend purchasing Soviet silver collectibles as an investment.
