WE BOUGHT SOVIET SILVER CHAINS - NEW TREND DETECTED

8/31/2013

Soviet SilverSoviet Jewelry Collection 2013
Lately we’ve been writing about, and buying, mostly Soviet Gold Jewelry. Now the time, one again, has come for Soviet Silver. We just purchased several Soviet Silver chains and one pendant. Two of the chains have original tags on them, which is always a bonus that adds value and rarity.

Chains, especially with tags, are interesting for one simple reason. Their survivability was and still is very low. Because chains [and especially small chains] are fragile and easy to break, these specific Soviet Jewelry pieces made it to this day in much lesser numbers. Obviously, the once that made it with tags are even rarer.

We also wish to point out how little Soviet chains are out there in general. To see for yourself, we invite all to do this simple market analysis by going to eBay.com and searching or  - soviet silver 875.

Take note how few of Soviet Silver chains are actually listed for sale [we counted 5] and compare that number to overall amount of Soviet Silver items that are available on eBay ring now [currently - 199]. Another interesting fact that we noted is that Soviet Silver chains are priced well above average, most in the range of $30-50 US per item. Considering how small and simple they are, this is surprising. We may have very well discovered a new trend on the Soviet Silver market.

US RUSSIA FACE-OFF IN SYRIA, COLD WAR NOSTALGIA AND FRAIL STOCK MARKETS ARE CAUSING HIGHER DEMAND FOR SOVIET GOLD!

8/28/2013

This, and the week before, we received more business and attention from new clients, than in the entire last two months combined. Furthermore, majority of them are Americans! What’s going on? We put that question to one Soviet Jewelry collector from California. His answer surprised us. He said it was Cold War Nostalgia, sparked by the recent face-off between Russia and United States over Syria.
Picture

“Many baby boomers want to relive their victorious past. Buying watches, rings and other Soviet things makes them feel connected to that time. They also see Soviet collectibles as their trophies for winning the Cold War.”  Jason M. / San Francisco

In light of the above said we did an extensive market analysis and here’s what we found. Lets start from the beginning.
Picture

The stock markets, once again, showed their dark side and, once again, gold came to the rescue. As Dow, Nasdaq and S&P plunge, gold prices are sharply on the rise. Gold is clearly showing everyone that is not only a safe but very profitable investment. This is a no-brainer by now. Stock markets, on which all economies highly depend on are extremely susceptible to unpleasant world events. Syria is only a small example of how fragile they really are.
The question that everyone must ask is – will there be more or less of "unpleasant" world events in the near future? The obvious answer is – more. And not only will they be in random parts of the world, chances are most of them will be concentrated in the oil-rich Middle East. This virtually guarantees higher oil prices and slower economic growth, across the globe. What should people do?

Buy gold in any way shape or form. This is the only commodity that not just increases but skyrockets in value with every “terrible” news or event that comes our way. The fact of the matter is - gold jewelry and cash-for-gold-buyers helped more average Americans during the 2008-2011 financial crisis than all the stock markets and government bailouts combined. That is, however, not the main point of this market report.

The main point is that a midst all of these economic downturns and global instabilities, Soviet Gold Jewelry is being aggressively bought up by investors and thus sharply growing in vale! Much to our surprise, this standoff between United States and Russia over Syria has sparked up some old rivalry that was last felt decades ago, during the Cold War. This for whatever reasons created a very strong demand for Soviet Gold Jewelry with most buyers coming form the West (mainly US and UK)! The only explanation for this phenomenon - is nostalgia, that must have suddenly awoke many otherwise uninterested Western investors.
Picture
Screenshot Copyrights © eBay.com
For the past two months the total number of Soviet Gold Jewelry that was available on eBay was roughly between 95-110 items. Then suddenly within a week this number dropped down to 70-80 while prices on many, especially average Soviet Gold pieces, increased by $100-200 dollars. This very sharp spike in Soviet Jewelry demand is a clear evidence of the new buyers that are “put off” by the fragility of the stocks and “turned on” by the strength of gold. Add a little tension between the West and the East, reignite the nostalgia of the Cold War in wealthy baby boomers, and out of the blue a major surge in prices and popularity comes to the Soviet Jewelry market!

BUYERS ALERT! RARE SOVIET GOLD RING FOR SALE

8/26/2013

Our readers just informed us that another ring exactly like the one we purchased today for $700, is currently for sale on eBay for $369 US! This is a fantastic deal and we strongly recommend buying it, especially if you don't have this Soviet ring in your collection. If you are new to Soviet Gold Jewelry altogether, this is a fantastic item to start your collection with.

The seller has both, Buy It Now and Make Offer, options available. If you are thinking of buying it, we suggest offering $350 and see if the sellers accepts. Most likely it will be yours for that price. Considering we just paid double for an exactly the same ring, this is a bargain anyway you put it.

Make sure to read our previous report "WE BOUGHT A RARE SOVIET GOLD RING" that we published today since it contains valuable information about this ring type. That said, from the images the seller provided, we can see that it was made in Yerevan (Armenia) in 1973, thus being one year older than the one we bought. It appears to be in good condition and from the looks of it, it was polished not too long ago.

Currently we see that there are 10 offers and 9 watchers on this item. This Soviet Gold Ring is, without a doubt, in demand and we would not be surprised if it sells very soon. Again, it is a great investment of your money so act quickly. With the way this market is developing, next year you may sell it for double if not triple its current value.

Most importantly, because this is the same ring that we bought, it is also in the 1985 Soviet Gold Jewelry Catalog. This makes it both - a valuable and a well document item.

Lastly, in our tradition of supporting our readers, if you buy this Soviet Gold Ring, let us know and we will issue you a FREE Hallmark Identification Certificate. That's like having a $12.95 discount!

WE BOUGHT A RARE SOVIET GOLD RING

Soviet Gold
Soviet Jewelry Collection 2013
"We lead by example" has become our motto. We strongly recommend buying Soviet Gold Jewelry to every investor, collector and jewelry enthusiast out here. We make this recommendation not through our words but through our actions.

As you know this year we've greatly expanded our company's collection. This purchase is yet another example of our commitment to our audience as well as the entire market.

Also, we would like to say that - more than anything, even the Soviet Gold Jewelry we buy, we value the loyalty and commitment of our clients, readers and followers who don't just read our news but act on them! We thank you for the trust you place in us.

The Soviet Gold Ring that we just purchased is a rare find indeed. It was made in 1974 in Yerevan, Armenia (USSR) and is considered to be one of the most popular Armenian rings of that period. Every jewelry collector must have this item in their collection. Until today we didn't. That said, what makes it even more valuable is that it is published in the 1985 Soviet Gold Jewelry Catalog, which in itself is also a rare and collectible book.
We purchased it from a private seller for $700 US, which is above market average. That said, because of the collection that we are putting together, we needed specifically the 1974 edition of this ring so to us it was well worth it. Above that, considering where entire Soviet Jewelry market is heading this will be a bargain price very soon.

WE BOUGHT A SOVIET GOLD COLLECTION

8/13/2013

Soviet Gold Jewelry
2013 Soviet Jewelry Collection
As our business and profits grow we are able to invest more of our capital into Soviet Gold and Silver Jewelry!

This is largely thanks to you, our clients, readers, followers and supporters! Because of your trust in us, we take what we do very seriously and unlike many other investment advisers - we put our money where our mouth is.

We just increased our Soviet Jewelry collection by nine Soviet Gold wedding rings! No… no one is getting married. An investment opportunity presented itself and we took advantage of it, that’s all.
Picture
This acquisition was part of a much larger collection that we located and purchased for our client [large Soviet Gold investor]. While the client was interested in a specific part of this particular Soviet Gold Jewelry collection, we decided to buy everything and some items keep for ourselves, while others sell to our other clients. These rings are what we kept. We paid roughly $185 USD per ring which is a bargain any way you put it, but that’s only because we bought in bulk.

All together this collection represents what we call a Soviet Gold Investment Package. What will happen next is, for every item in this entire collection we will:

- Issue our Certificate of Authenticity

- Issue our Hallmark Identification Certificate

- Take High-Definition Photographs

- Register each item in our database

- Establish provenance and history

Once all this is done we will ship the client’s portion of the collection, along with the documents, directly to him. Then additional steps many be taken by the client [who, by the way, already indicated the desire to do so] such as:

- Insuring each item

- Declaring Ownership of each item to a notary or a lawyer.

For very expensive and rare Soviet Jewelry items we also offer an appraisal service using Technology TES (world’s first mathematic and fully auditable art appraisal technology).

All these documents substantially better an investor’s portfolio.

Finally, once all this is done, we strongly recommend placing such valuables in a vault at home or better yet at your bank, and let them sit there for a year or two. We are sure everyone can see how these well documented and managed Soviet Gold Jewelry pieces will not just grow in value, but substantially grow in value.

The fact of the matter is - in the near future these well documented, authentic collectibles will be worth 5-6 times what we paid for them now. And if kept as a long term investment (5-10 years) these items will be worth a small fortune. When we say this we talk from experience. Much of our Soviet Jewelry Collection was acquired back in 2007 – 2008 and the difference between what we paid for it then and its value now is immense (in a profitable way of course).

STUNNING SOVIET FINE ART BY LENINGRAD ARTISTS

8/10/2013

UNDISCOVERED SOCIALIST REALISM OF THE XX CENTURY

Picture
Copyrights © April Group Fine Art - LeningradArtist.com / Lev Alexandrovich Russov, Song by Till, 1956
Soviet fine art has been steadily growing in popularity and value, both domestically and internationally. Art collectors and investors from all parts of the globe are buying Socialist Realism paintings from USSR, like never before. However, even with all this success, the majority of Soviet artists and their artworks remain unknown to the Western World. This is beginning to change.
The “April Group Fine Arts” and the “Russian Painting Collectors Club” came together to create one of the most stunning private collections of Soviet art that can easily compete with any state museum in Russia or abroad. Naturally we, at Soviet Jewelry, decided to join these groups and help promote Soviet art to the world. That is why we invite everyone (especially collectors and investors) to visit and explore their website:

www.LeningradArtist.com

One book, unlike any other, introduces this project, the artists and of course the artworks to the western world. It is called the “Unknown Socialist Realism - The Leningrad School” by Sergay Ivanov.

“The book is a first inclusive publication on the history of the Leningrad School -- one of the brightest and significant phenomena for Soviet Art of 1930-1980 that strongly influenced its contents and development. It outlines the basic periods of the school's evolution; from the period that preceded its formation in the early 1930s, up to the early 1990s. Paintings reproduced in the publication belong to large Russian and other foreign private collections. Some of the works are published for the first time. This allows for a more comprehensive assessment of the art heritage of individual painters and the epoch in general. The publication contains a historical outline, biographies of artists, photographs and an extensive reference section that helps to navigate the book materials and provides the reader with important historical guidelines. Texts are published in Russian and English.” [1]

Why Soviet Art? Because this specific art category has a very unique situation that is now extremely favorable to investors and collectors. How so? During the existence of USSR, socialist realism was not only encouraged, but it was also to a large extent supported by the government. Exhibitions were organized, books, catalogs and articles were published, artists were prospering. Then came the 1990s. Soviet Union, soviet culture, soviet way of life – all things soviet had simply collapsed. Thousands of previously well known and respected artists (both living and those that passed away) lost everything from state support and money savings, to the fame and respect they earned. This in turn took most Soviet artists out of the international art community. The only other way to describe this occurrence is to imagine pressing a pause button on all Soviet art and culture. It stayed like this for over two decades. Only now are things beginning to change.

So why is this favorable to modern day investors and collectors? It is favorable because, for the most part, the Soviet artists and their artworks are well documented. All the artists’ recorded accomplishments did not disappear along with the Soviet Union. They stayed in local, regional and national libraries, archives and registries accumulating dust and awaiting their resurrection. If one is to dig deep enough, stunning information with great details, imagery and substance can easily be found. It is precisely this information that is crucial when the time comes to “marketing” the undiscovered artist and their artworks.

Those who realize this are taking full advantage of the situation by heavily investing in well documented Soviet art. Just think, there are vast amounts of well documented artists and artworks, full of potential, which has never been explored.

Picture

From purely an investors perspective, this is a gold mine. With a relatively little amount of money one can purchase a large amount of artworks. After which, one can do the necessary research, hire professional art marketers, make several publications and suddenly a new artist, artwork or an entire collection emerges into the international market of art, antiques and collectibles. Records are broken, money is made.
Picture
Copyrights © LeningradArtist.com / G. Savinov, Country Store, 1961
This is not a hypothetical scenario; this is what is happening right now, this very moment! What is even more exiting is that the April Group has done most of the work for you, by locating exquisite and rare Soviet art, identifying and cataloging each artist, creating provenance for every artwork and publishing this in a prestigious and well written book. Furthermore, they are one of the few organizations in Russia that legally and officially handle all export matters, in so delivering high-quality authentic Soviet art to any part of the world in accordance with local rules and regulations.

We invite all not just to look at these beautiful works of art, but also to seriously consider investing in this new and vibrant market. Because we formed a great relationship with the top management of the April Group, feel free to contact them directly OR address your questions, requests and desires to us and we will be more than happy speak on your behalf with the key people at April Group Fine Art.

ONCE AGAIN WE WELCOME EVERYONE TO VISIT: www.LeningradArtist.com

SOVIET GOLD JEWELRY MARKET – RUSSIA & THE WEST

8/8/2013

*Preview of the World's first US / Russian Soviet Gold Market analysis below >> Read on>>

After United States, Russia and Ukraine are the second and third largest markets for Soviet Gold Jewelry. They are also the largest holders of Soviet Gold and Silver in the world.

Export of precious metals, including jewelry (and especially vintage jewelry), from both, Russian and Ukraine, is restricted and heavily regulated by the governments of these countries.

It stands to reason that because of the abundance of the product and the lack of international buyers, prices on Soviet Gold Jewelry should be low or at the very least below average in Russia. Soviet Jewelry should be cheap there, right? Wrong!

Soviet Gold Jewelry prices in Russia, Ukraine and many other Eastern European nations are the same as or more expensive than in United States, Canada, United Kingdom and the rest of Western Europe! This is no longer a trend this is the reality of the market!

We did an extensive analysis of both the Western and Eastern Soviet Jewelry Markets and clearly prices on Soviet Gold are rising faster than ever in the East! This will unquestionably impact the Western European and North American markets!

US & EU Soviet Jewelry Collectors and Investors – BUY Soviet Gold and Silver. Prices on this rare commodity are expected to increase exponentially!

As usual we lead by example. We already launched USSRJewelry.com, a Russian version of SovietJewelry.com, and established ourselves as the leading Soviet Gold and Silver investment organization in Eastern Europe. We started to form large Soviet Gold and Silver collections for ourselves and others in these countries and have further plans to expand our business operations in that part of the world. Join us – visit USSRJewelry.com.

Finally let us show you quick a comparison between the US and Russian markets:

Molotok.ru is the Russian equivalent of eBay.com It is the fastest growing and the most popular online auction in Russia with many subsidiaries in neighboring countries. We would like to show you the comparison between prices on eBay and Molotok.ru and let you be the judge of what is happening on the market.
