Soviet Gold Timepieces are becoming evermore popular with jewelry lovers and especially watch collectors. The demand for Soviet watches, especially those made of gold and silver, has grown significantly in the past few years. We see this growth in the quickly rising prices for both, male and female watches made in the USSR.

As usual we don't just advice you, WE LEAD BY EXAMPLE! That is why we just purchased this beautiful female gold watch "ЧАЙКА / CHAIKA". Its unique design with an integrated gold bracelet makes it a great investment and a rare collectible. A win win any way you put it.

The market has not quite caught on to the fact that Soviet Gold Watches are extremely rare. Not only were they produced in very small numbers in the first place, but many of these timepieces have been lost or melted down for their gold content. Above that, the uniqueness of gold watches from USSR grows even further, when we realize that almost all of them were originally owned, not by average folks, but by the elite of the Soviet Union. To put this into perspective, buying a gold watch in USSR is similar to buying gold Rolex today. That was how expensive Soviet Gold Watches were. The importance of the above sale is not only in the fact that buyers are paying over $500 US (with shipping) for quality Soviet Gold items, but also because this ring had our Hallmark ID Certificate which, according to the seller, helped facilitate the sale.

This sale is interesting because a fairly small Soviet Gold Ring was sold for over $400 US, if we include shipping charges. Also, it is important to note the impact of professional photography and presentation of the item. Unquestionably, a well presented item has a much higher probability of sale, and for higher price, that identical item that is shown poorly (sellers take note).

Lastly, this small Soviet Gold wedding ring, weighing only 2 grams, is of interest to us because it continues the trend of high demand for inexpensive gold jewelry made in the USSR. This trend was detected in the beginning of November and published in our last sales report (LARGE SOVIET GOLD COLLECTION SOLD ON EBAY - 11/15/2013).
